Celebrating Five9 Partner Ecosystem Expansion and Success

On the heels of announcing our 2023 Global Partner Award winners last week at Five9 SKO, we’re thrilled to also celebrate Jake Butterbaugh, SVP of the Five9 Global Partner Organization. 

Jake and his global partner team achieved remarkable success in 2023, setting the stage for another record-breaking year ahead. Jake ended 2023 recognized as a Top 20 UC Contact Center Leaders for 2023 by Channel Futures, and was recently recognized as a CRN Channel Chief for the fifth consecutive year, signaling Five9’s accelerated market leadership in CX. 

In 2023, Jake was instrumental in creating more partner incentives, partner upsell and co-sell opportunities, and for his continued success with the Five9 “sell with, build with, and deliver with” partner strategy. His global partner team worked tirelessly to build and manage a growing international Five9 partner ecosystem, opening new routes to market and helping partners expand their practices to take the CX industry to new heights.  Five9 also rolled out new IVA sales certifications, sales enablement, and marketing content to help our partners go to market armed with better product knowledge and compelling, easy-to-launch marketing campaigns.   

It is no secret that success breeds success, and Jake's recent accomplishments are a case in point. In 2023 he was recognized as Channel Chief of the Year by Telarus and Five9 was honored by Intelisys, Telarus, AVANT, Verint and Bluewave Partner of the Year awards. These accolades are a testament to the laser focus and shared dedication of the entire Five9 partner team to help our partners succeed and grow.  

2023 also saw an impressive six Five9 partner powerhouse leaders Stacey Cole, Beth Herman, Kim Hill, Jennifer Kuipers, Kellie McMillian, and Jess Shea named to the 2023 CRN Women of the Channel list for their channel expertise and vision. We’re proud of their contribution to our partner business and the greater channel community and applaud their work in helping Five9 promote the power of exceptional CX.
