Accelerating Partner Success with a Greater Investment in Certification
Enabling and empowering partners has always been at the foundation of the Five9 Global Partner Program and where Five9 continues to invest. In the past 18 months, Five9 launched a new Partner PRM Portal, Partner Amplify Webinar Series, Onboarding Practice, and CX Marketplace. To add to this success, we launched our new Five9 Global Partner On-Demand Certification and Badging Program in the early summer of this year. This self-paced, on-demand curriculum enables partner sales teams to become Five9 Sales Certified. And it is just the first of many we are developing. Each certification builds upon the others to create a strong sales organization for our partners and give the Five9 partner team more time to work with partners on closing and growing business instead of one-to-one training. Talk about a win-win!
The launch of our new Global Certification Program has been extraordinarily successful and helpful in confirming our partner's interest in and demand for Five9 training but also helping get partners trained and selling Five9 across the globe faster and more efficiently. In less than two months, over 150 global partners registered for the program, and over 1300 of their sales managers signed up to take the training. So far, we have over 500 people who have successfully become certified and received badges with an additional 257 who have started and yet to complete. Post-training surveys also show the content and experience are getting extremely high marks with an 8.7 NPS score. When you map it all out, learning hours provided are 1697 hours of self-service training to date via the certification program. Boom!

One of the unique benefits of the Five9 Global Partner Certification Program is that when you complete the training, individuals receive a digital badge or credentials to show their certification and competencies as a Five9 Trusted Advisor. These digital badges can be added to partner websites and promoted to individual achievements via their social channels, email signatures, and potential customers. It was so rewarding to see the social amplification and promotion that happened with the badges from all our proud partners and the individuals that completed the training.
When it came time to build the coursework for the certification program, we tapped into the expertise of our subject matter experts across all levels and departments at Five9 in collaboration with feedback from partners. Our collective goals were to ensure the content was concise, consistent, and relevant so that our partners could gain the knowledge that aligns with the Five9 approach. This approach to developing the curriculum allows for training and brand messaging consistency while strengthening our position in the marketplace.
What is next? The sky is the limit. We are working on intermediate and advanced certifications to supply specific product expertise.
